Abigail Kaske, LCSW
Abigail is a licensed clinical social worker in the State of New York. She has over ten years of experience working with a diverse population of adult mentally ill individuals, specifically in housing and case management. She is passionate about the care and treatment of seniors, especially those experiencing the effects and frustration of cognitive impairment. Recognizing that Alzheimer’s disease/dementia is challenging for the patient and their caregiver, Abigail enjoys offering some relief via clinical assessment, interventions, education/navigation of healthcare system, and linkage to community resources/additional supports. She guides individuals to the appropriate services offered by the Stony Brook Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease and helps spread awareness about the center throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Abigail received her a BA in Psychology from St. Josephs College, and her MSW from Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work.
