Ensure that the Stony Brook Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease has access to any preliminary testing that has been completed such as blood work, MRI results, preliminary cognitive testing results such as standardized assessments (e.g. AD8, Mini-Cog or MMSE or MoCA).
Have a family member, friend or caregiver accompany your patient to their appointment.
The results of our Alzheimer’s consultation will be available shortly after the appointment you will have access to technical assistance for the continued care of your patient.
